About us

Since 2009, the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance has set the agenda for Corporate Governance development in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. We are a non-profit, non-governmental association that engages business and political leaders in the region. We aim to be the most transparent and accessible civil society organization in the Baltics. Our members are dynamic change-seeking individuals and companies who share and support the mission of the Institute.

We are active

The Institute creates events, programs and policy publications in order to reach its mission. This includes education programs for Board members and Chairpersons. We frequently attract international business leaders to share their experience with our members.

We are international

We host international business delegations for our members to learn best practices and promote the Baltic region as a business partner, with the destinations including New York, Singapore, London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo.

“Your work to reform state-owned enterprises sends a strong message across the region about the importance of transparency and accountability. As you continue to grow stronger economies and increase opportunity, know that the United States stands with you,” noted the then U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, addressing the Annual General Meeting of the Institute in 2011, via video.
